Memorial Health in Savannah, GA seeks a Neuro Med-Surg Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient-centered care on the 5 Northeast Neuro Med/Surg team. You will collaborate with providers and care teams, advocate for patients and families, and contribute to improved outcomes and nursing practice.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure is required to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• RN Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree are accepted qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and document care in the medical record; respond to therapeutic effects or adverse events as needed.
• Provide exceptional, patient-centered care by responding to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology as needed.
