HCA Healthcare, Inc. affiliated Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team.

The RN applies established nursing models to assess, teach, and manage care while advocating for patients and families. You will participate in evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives, joining a multidisciplinary team to tailor

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, status, plan, medications and side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Teaches follow-up measures such as diet, exercise, disease prevention and self-management.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic treatment plan.
