Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a BSN and be a licensed Illinois RN.
• ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.
• Current Illinois RN license and BLS certification required.
• ER-specific credentials (ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC) within one year of hire are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient status and care needs on admission or point of care.
• Organize health data so it is accurate, complete and accessible.
• Develop and update the plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Provide patient and family education grounded in evidence-based practice.
