Job summary
AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our day shift team. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate high-quality patient care.
Candidates should have an Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), be licensed as an RN in Florida, and possess strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
- 1+ acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; regularly evaluate and revise as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
- Respond promptly to code situations; provide interventions to stabilize patients.
