Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Medical unit (36 beds) in Gainesville, GA. The role includes caring for mixed neuro patients and standard acute neuro cases, with responsibilities spanning assessment, planning, and coordination of patient care on a 12-hour evening shift.

The position requires GA RN licensure and an ADN/ Diploma (BSN preferred) with at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience — demonstrated competence or meets experience upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transformational Leadership and active partnership on the care team.
• Lead interdisciplinary rounds to ensure appropriate care and smooth transitions.
• Apply nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in identifying clinical, social, safety and ethical issues.
• Delegate care appropriately while maintaining accountability for care quality.
• Communicate clearly with all healthcare team members and support Safety practices.
