Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute offers a unique blended nursing role in Imaging across Vascular Access, Interventional Radiology, and Diagnostic Imaging. You’ll be supported by phased onboarding, expanding your expertise through cross-training while contributing to a cutting-edge care model in a state-of-the-art environment.

Ideal candidates are experienced RNs with a passion for learning, teamwork, and developing breadth of practice within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current state RN license
• BLS certification recognized by AHA or Red Cross
• One year of RN experience; alternative: LPN background with transfer within same dept.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during neurological interventional radiology procedures, CT and MRI exams, and vascular access
• Perform assessments, monitor during procedures and recovery, document and communicate changes
• Administer treatments/medications per standards and protocols
• Create individualized care plans with patients and families
• Coordinate discharge planning and post-care education
• Maintain competency across specialties through ongoing education
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, efficient patient-centered care
• Cross-cover other nursing roles as needed to support operations
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety in imaging program
