Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of recent RN experience
• Offset: LPN experience may substitute for RN experience in same department

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing neurological interventional radiology procedures, CT and MRI exams, and vascular access procedures
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patients during procedures and recovery
• Administer treatments and medications per standards and protocols
• Collaborate with patients and families to establish plans of care
• Coordinate ongoing care and safe discharge planning
• Educate patients and families about procedures and ongoing care
