Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking a Neuro ICU/Neuro Step-Down RN to manage care for interventional, stroke and neuro-surgical patients on a busy Long Island unit.

Candidates should have 1+ year RN experience in critical care, strong cardiac monitoring, and a current NY RN license. BLS and ACLS are required; CCRN is preferred. Compensation includes competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year RN experience in a Critical Care/Neuro ICU or step-down unit.
• Cardiac/invasive monitoring knowledge and arrhythmia interpretation required.
• New York RN license & registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer meds, document progress, and manage care for neuro ICU/step-down patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for patients and families through safety, education, and support.
