Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Critical Care Unit in Newark, DE. This part-time role (48 hours per pay period) requires rotating day and midnight shifts and weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

The 18-bed unit specializes in neurological and neurosurgical conditions with a collaborative care model. Ideal candidates hold Delaware RN licensure (or compact), a BSN (or plan to obtain within three years), and BLS certification; ACLS is

Qualifications

• Delaware RN licensure or compact RN license.
• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of the date of hire.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification strongly preferred.
• Must have at least two years of RN experience in ICU, step-down, or progressive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Neuro Critical Care Unit with daily rounds involvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Monitor neuro patients and respond to changes in condition.
