ChristianaCare in Newark, DE is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiovascular Critical Care. Responsibilities include caring for high-acuity cardiac patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in daily rounds.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
• Two years of stepdown experience.
• Previous critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Cardiac dysrhythmia proficiency required.
• Delaware RN license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for high-acuity cardiac patients, including those requiring advanced therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, medical residents, cardiac surgeons, and physician assistants.
• Participate in daily patient-focused rounds to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Manage complex interventions such as titration of vasoactive medications, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management and rapid weaning, IABP, CRRT, VADs, and ECMO patients.
