Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Level One Neuro ICU on the night shift. This Magnet-designated teaching hospital provides care for critically ill adults with neurological conditions in a 20-bed NsICU.

The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, dedicated onboarding, and ongoing opportunities for specialty certifications and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Accredited RN program completion is required.
• BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans; adjust to meet outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support teamwork and contribute to peer development.
