Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse - clear and active GA or compact state license required
• ASN or BSN required

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, plan, medications and side effects, and follow-up measures. Translates complex medical terminology for understanding.
• Teaches non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet and exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families for self-management.
• Manages evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement to meet quality measures and enhance care.
• Coordinates and delivers a holistic patient treatment plan with a multidisciplinary team.
