Job summary

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Current State of Texas RN license or compact license to practice professional nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and high-quality nursing care to patients across the care continuum.
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care.
Directs and may delegate tasks to other members of the healthcare team.
Develops discharge and transfer plans in collaboration with the care team.
Participates in program evaluation, quality improvement and outcomes measurement.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and Memorial Hermann standards and policies.
Promotes professional growth through continuing education and competency validation.
Provides compassionate, personalized care focused on the patient experience.
