Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, using established nursing models to support patient and family education and outcomes.

The RN will advocate for patients and participate in care planning, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license or current registered nurse certification is required
• Associate/Bachelor degree or RN Diploma acceptable

Responsabilités

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Educates patients on non-medicinal follow-up measures and lifestyle changes.
• Supports evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver holistic patient treatment plans.
