Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.

You will apply established nursing models, educate patients and families, and participate in continuous quality improvement while advancing your career through mentorship, clinical education courses, certifications support, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree, or RN Diploma

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Educates patients, families and caregivers about condition, plan of care, medications and follow-up.
• Teaches about lifestyle changes and self-management for future care.
• Contributes to evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and delivers a holistic patient treatment plan with the care team.
