Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. The role involves assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with physicians and support staff, provide education to patients and families, and ensure documentation reflects the highest standards of care using bar-scanning and electronic health record systems.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license to work at the assigned HMH location.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• BSN within five years of hire or as per union contract.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health data and needs.
• Develop and coordinate plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan with the care team.
• Provide patient/family education and ensure understanding.
• Document care and outcomes using standard protocols and systems.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
