Job summary

Prisma Health Richland Hospital NSICU is seeking a skilled RN to provide direct patient care in a 16-bed neurocritical care unit. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers to deliver evidence-based care and ensure patient safety. A sign-on bonus may apply for external candidates.

The role requires an RN license, 1 year of RN experience, and a willingness to work day shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed. Training in neuroscience nursing will be provided.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: One year as a Registered Nurse.
• Holds a current RN license recognized by state board.
• In lieu of RN experience, residency programs or internal LPN experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per established nursing plan.
• Develop and update the care plan with patient/family and interprofessional team.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the team.
• Ensure documentation, safety, and adherence to care standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and education activities.
