Job summary

The University of Miami's Neuro Intensive Care Department is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert patient care in UTower. The staff nurse coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, documents nursing care, and supports patient and family education throughout the care continuum.

Requirements include a Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS, BSN preferred (ASN with plan to complete BSN accepted), and a minimum of 2 years ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Florida RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients and evaluate plans of care.
• Document nursing care and report changes in patient condition and vital signs.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records per policies.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
