Job summary

Johnston-Willis Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Virginia hospital setting.

Responsibilities include procedures, documentation, and patient education in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must hold an RN license for Virginia (or compact) and obtain ACLS/BLS within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in Virginia or a compact license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Teaches about non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver holistic patient care.
