Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Critical Care Technician for the Neuro ICU in Trenton, full-time days. The role combines hands-on patient care with phlebotomy, glucometer testing and EKG duties, under RN supervision. A CNA or equivalent training is preferred, with EMT or EMT Academy background encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience as EMT or EMT Academy completion.
• AHA BLS certification; CNA preferred or UAP training completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care as part of the care team.
• Perform phlebotomy, glucometer testing and EKG responsibilities.
• Handle clerical duties, computer tasks and unit supply maintenance.
• Record accurate intake/output and report to RN; assist with CPR as needed.
• Ensure safety, transfer techniques and falls precautions per unit policy.
