Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Neuro ICU team at UH Cleveland Medical Center. The APP will work rotating day/night shifts with weekend and holiday coverage; ACNP is required.

New grads may participate in the THRIVE APP Training Program, with duties including patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration, plus ongoing staff education and clinical leadership development.

Qualifications

• ACNP certification and Ohio licensure.
• APP experience preferred; new grads considered for THRIVE APP Training Program.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and hospital mission.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and customers.
• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on data and current research.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per carepaths and standards.
• Collaborates with other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach.
• Contributes to staff and patient education; demonstrates leadership.
• Advances professional development through self-directed learning.
