Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks an experienced RN to collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering patient care, including nursing assessments, exams, treatments, patient education, and medical record maintenance. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, and an active TX license or compact license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN experience levels: RN I (<1 year), RN II (1-3 years), RN III (3-10 years), RN IV (10+ years).
• BSN preferred; graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Active nursing license in TX or compact license; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care per skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes with data-driven care.
• Develops discharge/transfer plans and coordinates treatments.
• Promotes patient-centered care and adherence to standards and policies.
