Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Clinical Technician to provide direct patient care under nurse supervision and support unit operations. The role requires assisting with patient care tasks, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

The position demands a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification, and one of several eligible credentials (CNA FL licensure; RN student; RN graduate pending NCLEX; EMT/Paramedic with FL licensure). Basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Must satisfy one of the following: CNA with Florida licensure; RN student actively enrolled; RN graduate pending NCLEX; EMT or Paramedic with Florida licensure.
• Basic computer knowledge: operate a PC, create/save/print documents, input data.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a nurse.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple patient care assignments based on acuity and staffing.
• Enter timely and accurate documentation into the electronic medical record.
• Assist in repositioning immobile patients and monitor intake and output.
• Assist clinicians with restraints when applicable and transport patients as needed.
