Job summary

101 Southeast Health in the southeast Alabama region seeks a Neuro Endovascular Nurse to deliver critical care in the Neuro Endovascular Lab within Interventional Radiology. You will assist neuro and vascular surgeons and monitor patients through procedures, documenting care and ensuring safety.

The candidate should have an RN license, 2+ years in ED/IR/ICU, stroke/AWBNN credentials, and experience with moderate sedation, reflecting a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• Completion of an undergraduate degree.
• Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (ABNN).
• Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (ABNN).
• Two (2) or more years of experience in an Emergency Department, Interventional Radiology, or Intensive Care Unit.
• Two (2) or more years of imaging experience.
• Experience with moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Neuro Endovascular and Vascular Surgeons during procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status during and after procedures.
• Document patient condition, progress and care in EMR.
• Provide patient safety and anticipate needs; manage potential complications.
• Operate and maintain medical devices; ensure correct charging in the system.
