Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL, seeks an experienced neuroscience nurse to provide critical care for neurovascular patients in the Neuro Endovascular Lab of Interventional Radiology.

You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitor neurological status and vital signs, document patient responses, and support sedation and pain management while upholding Southeast Health Center safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) Program.
• Undergraduate degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Stroke Certification (ABNN) is preferred.
• Certified Neuroscience Nurse (ABNN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Neuro Endovascular Surgeon and Vascular Surgeon during procedures.
• Monitor vitals and neurological status during and after procedures.
• Document patient condition and interventions in EMR.
• Provide moderate sedation and assist in pain management.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality; support other radiology areas as needed.
