Job summary

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking a Neuro Endovascular Physician Assistant to join the Neuroservices team in South Carolina. The role includes comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, order and interpretation of diagnostics, and coordination of care with specialists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as an Advanced Practitioner in an associated specialty.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical examinations, and diagnostic workups.
• Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with South Carolina regulations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Coordinate care with specialists, ancillary services, and the broader healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in Neuroservices conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
