Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Approved EEG course/education required.
• American Board of Registry in EEG Technology (ABRET) certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• One year of EEG Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and Evoked Potential EEG recordings.
• May assume Chief EEG Technologist duties during vacations or illness.
• Record EEGs in Operating Room during neurosurgical procedures.
• Record bedside EEGs in ICU and other settings.
• Calibrate EEG equipment for standard and special recordings.
• Assist in collecting data for research and case history.
