Exceed Medical seeks a Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner (APP) to independently and collaboratively manage acutely ill neuro-critical patients in a dedicated neuro ICU. Work with EEG services, neurology consultants, and neurosurgery teams to provide comprehensive care.

The role requires board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP or PA, NPI, DEA, and BLS/ACLS/ENLS credentials, with preferred neuro-ICU experience. Night shifts with some weekend nights and on-call shifts.

Formación

• Board-certified and licensed Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA).

• Must hold DEA registration and state prescribing authority.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ENLS certifications.

Job Summary:

The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro-intensive care unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, dedicated fellowship trained neuro-intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing.
• Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS).
• Preferred experience of working at least one (1) year in the neuro-critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN.
