Baptist Health - Central Alabama seeks a Charge Nurse for the Neuroscience department. This role involves facilitating and coordinating patient care activities and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
A Degree in Nursing is required, with a BSN preferred and at least one year of nursing experience. The position offers regular full-time hours on the first shift at Baptist Medical Center South.

The RN - Charge Nurse shall be responsible to facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for the provision of quality patient care during the assigned shift. This individual is responsible to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and will serve as a mentor to the staff. The Charge Nurse shall demonstrate the consistent ability to act as a role model by providing direction in the application of the nursing process, quality improvement standards, and organizational and department goal and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience required.
Active RN licensure required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.
