Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Neurology at Thompson Peak Medical Center in Scottsdale. The role operates on a part-time night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) with 2–12 hour shifts, self-scheduling, and weekend/holiday rotations.

Supports neuro inpatient care with emphasis on high-acuity patients and coordination with licensed caregivers. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months healthcare experience or completion of Block 1 in Nursing/MA/NA/EMT/BHT, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of healthcare experience in the last year or completion of Block 1 in Nursing/MA/NA/EMT/BHT required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNA/EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Document and report patient condition changes; maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and care plan tasks.
• Address questions or concerns from patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
