Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine is launching an interdisciplinary Neuro-AI project to build a brain foundation model. The team seeks software developers/engineers to build scalable systems enabling rapid scientific iteration, reproducibility, and production-grade CI/CD across multiple Stanford labs.

Your work will support code quality, reliability, and efficiency while collaborating with leading labs in neuroscience and artificial intelligence, including Tolias and Moore labs, on

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing production-grade codebases.
  • Strong Python and system-level language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess user needs and requirements.
  • Design and develop applications with complex data manipulation.
  • Maintain and update existing programs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Create programs to meet reporting and analysis needs.
  • Design and implement user and operations training programs.
  • Document changes in software for end users.
  • Follow team software development methodology.
  • Serve as a technical resource with respect to applications.
