Job summary

The Biological Computing Co. (TBC) is seeking a Computational Neuroscientist to drive novel algorithms by analyzing real neuron dynamics and connecting living neural data with AI systems.

You will design experiments, analyze large-scale neural recordings and translate findings into AI models and software. Collaborating with wet-lab scientists and AI researchers, you will shape research directions, build reusable tools, and help move theory toward neurally-optimized software and next-generation

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in computational neuroscience, neural engineering, ML or related field.
• Strong background in neural-data analysis, neural population dynamics, neural coding or dynamical systems.
• Experience with electrophysiology, MEA recordings, calcium imaging or similar neural datasets.
• Strong programming ability in Python and experience with ML tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments encoding temporal, spatial and multimodal information into neural cultures.
• Analyze large-scale electrophysiological recordings and model neural population dynamics.
• Translate neural principles into AI systems, architectures and learning rules.
• Build reusable analysis tools connecting wet-lab data with AI-model evaluation.
