Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites applications for a Networking Qualification Engineer II (Finance) role in Puerto Rico. This hybrid position requires you to work 2 days per week from an HPE office. You will design, analyze and validate electrical/electronic components and subsystems, collaborating with internal and external partners.

We seek engineers with a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering and 2–4 years of experience. English and local language proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and guidelines.
• Develops and implements parameters and test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
• Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
• Participates as a member of project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
