Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, and algorithms, applying established engineering principles and industry guidelines.

You will develop and implement test plans, validate tolerances and EMI, collaborate with internal and external partners, and contribute to reliable, cost-effective hardware solutions for low to moderately complex products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 2-4 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Develops and implements parameters and test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
• Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
• Participates as a member of project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
