Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate selection criteria experience.
• Proven extensive programming experience in a system/application programmer role.
• Demonstrated experience effectively handling customers and providing excellent service.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team.
• Proven ability to provide both technical and application training and mentoring to other programming/technical staff.
• Demonstrated ability to function on a project level with little supervision.
• Demonstrated adaptability when required to adjust to multiple demands.
• Demonstrated experience setting goals and achieving them.
• Proven strong analytical skills and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Monitors new developments in software/hardware marketplace and identifies products with potential benefit to the company.
• Investigates technology trends and recommends adoption where appropriate.
• Provides training and mentoring to programmers and staff.
• Provides high-level technical and application problem analysis.
• Evaluates feasibility and costs of proposed projects and new software packages.
