Job summary

DCI Donor Services, Inc. is seeking an IT Network and Telephony Engineer in Nashville for designing, securing, and maintaining our IT network and VoIP systems. You will implement VLANs, QoS, firewall controls, VPNs, and SBCs, ensuring high availability and security across on-site and remote environments.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in network administration and IT security, plus 5+ years with VoIP. Healthcare/nonprofit experience is a plus, with strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, CS, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and IT security.
• 5+ years of managing VoIP systems and telephony infrastructure.
• Experience in healthcare or nonprofit regulated environments is a plus.
• Technical skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; Cisco or similar; firewall/IDS/IPS; VPNs; VoIP platforms.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement VLANs, QoS, and routing protocols to optimize performance.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues; maintain documentation.
• Administer and support VoIP systems, including call routing and voicemails.
• Configure SBCs, SIP trunks, and telephony gateways; monitor call quality.
• Ensure security compliance, run vulnerability assessments and audits.
• Provide reports to leadership on security incidents and trends.
• Work in hybrid environment with on-site presence as needed.
