Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Network Engineering leader to drive large-scale assessment, consolidation, and transformation of complex, globally distributed infrastructures. You will redesign enterprise networks beyond maintenance, focusing on scalable, hybrid environments with AI-assisted tools and strong security foundations.

The role emphasizes leading architecture efforts, designing target SD-WAN/SASE architectures, and ensuring compliance timelines, alongside contributing to internal growth

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in network architecture for large enterprises with consulting experience.
• Experience leading network consolidation and transformation programs.
• Federal/network environments experience preferred; regulated industries acceptable as substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead network architecture assessments including topology analysis and cost modeling.
• Design SD-WAN/SASE target architectures for hybrid/multi-cloud workloads.
• Assess Zero Trust network readiness and develop implementation roadmaps.
• Evaluate dependencies between network modernization and cloud migration sequencing.
• Define and integrate findings into A&M engagement scope and deliverables.
• Support practice development through internal training and content creation.
