Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Washington, DC is seeking a Network Engineering leader to drive large‑scale assessment, consolidation and transformation for globally distributed infrastructures. You will redesign enterprise networks at scale, craft SD-WAN/SASE architectures, and guide cross‑functional teams to higher reliability.

Ideal candidates have 8–12+ years of complex network architecture experience, CCIE/CCNP preferred, and willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead network architecture and engineering assessments: topology analysis, bandwidth/latency optimization, cost modeling, and roadmaps
• Design SD-WAN/SASE target architectures that support hybrid and multi-cloud workloads across classification levels
• Assess Zero Trust network readiness and develop implementation roadmaps aligned to compliance timelines
• Evaluate dependencies between network modernization and cloud migration sequencing
• Define and integrate findings into A&M's broader engagement scope and deliverables
• Support practice development through internal training, content creation, and people development
