Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Network Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and network hardware. The role supports user accounts, security, and virtual desktops within the server environment.

The position requires an Associate Degree in IT or related field and 2–4 years of hardware experience, with CCNA or MCDST certifications preferred. On-site role with on-call support and regular attendance expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Manages and configures network systems to meet organizational needs.
• Installs and maintains network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitors network performance and troubleshoots issues.
• Implements security measures to protect the network.
• Provides on-call and after-hours support.
• Maintains documentation and prioritizes work orders.
