Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Server Technician/Engineer to patch Windows servers in a large banking environment. This hands-on role focuses on deploying patches via SCCM, troubleshooting deployments, and ensuring compliance through documented processes.

The position requires onsite work with a schedule that may include non-standard hours and is supported by full training and onboarding to the team. You will collaborate with IT to maintain secure, reliable server operations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Active Directory and file permissions.
• Ability to troubleshoot patch failures independently.

eNGINE is hiring Server Techs, Admins, or Engineers to join a patching team supporting a large banking environment. This is hands-on, execution-focused work: installing patches via SCCM across Windows servers and troubleshooting the patches that don't go smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and manage patches via SCCM across Windows servers supporting SQL, applications, and web servers for departments across the bank
• Troubleshoot and remediate failed or problematic patch deployments
• Follow established change management and documentation processes to support compliance and reporting requirements (full training provided)
• Work within defined windows/schedules, which may include non-standard hours

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SCCM patch deployment
• Comfortable with command line interfaces
• Working knowledge of file permissions and Active Directory
• Ability to troubleshoot patch failures independently

Nice to Have

• Vulnerability management experience (there's room to grow into more of this over time as the team maturing)
