GRID Networks is seeking an experienced Network and Linux Systems engineer to deploy Juniper devices across existing WANs and to support Linux-based systems.
You will join a small, hands-on Infrastructure team that shapes technical direction and drives end-to-end infrastructure projects, from design to deployment and maintenance.
Job Description
Grid Networks is seeking an experienced Network and Linux Systems engineer with expertise deploying Juniper network devices across existing wide-area networks.
You will join a small and friendly team of Infrastructure engineers with varied backgrounds and skillsets who all work on and support a variety of technologies. Our team is small, and every engineer contributes across multiple areas, influencing technical direction and participating throughout the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects. Our team designs, builds, and implements systems supporting hardware designers, software developers, mobile networks, and the customer-facing systems that bring them together.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starting and hands-on engineer who likes improving enterprise network infrastructure, but who also enjoys building and supporting Linux-based systems, virtualization, and automation. If you loathe silos and pigeonholes, and if you enjoy a variety of tasks and technologies to fiddle with, you may be happy here.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our office in Reston, VA.
