Job summary

Machine Concepts Inc. is seeking a Network / Systems Administrator to own the technology stack as the primary IT resource. You will support the shop floor, engineering, and front office, and lead planning for future tech investments.

Responsibilities include managing Windows Server, Exchange, Teams, HubSpot, VPNs, Duo MFA, and Epicor ERP. You will provide user support for 60+ users and handle IT procurement, backups, and DR planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems and network administration, ideally as primary IT resource in small-to-midsize business.
• Strong Windows Server administration and solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall rules, VPN).
• Full-time on-site availability with occasional after-hours response during critical events.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environment, Exchange, Teams, and HubSpot.
• Manage switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure; oversee Duo MFA and security guidance.
• ERP admin for Epicor 10.1.4 ERP including security groups, BAQs, dashboards.
• Provide daily tech support and onboarding setup for 60+ users across departments.
• Handle IT procurement, hardware refreshes, and software renewals from deployment to disposal.
• Execute backups, disaster recovery, and document network topology and licensing.

Network / Systems Administrator (Full-time, On-site)

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will own the entire technology stack as the primary IT resource. You will be the backbone of our daily operations—keeping engineering, the shop floor, and the front office running smoothly—and the person leadership turns to when planning where our technology goes next.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems & Infrastructure: Administer and maintain our Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environment, Microsoft Exchange, Teams, and HubSpot.
• Network & Security: Manage switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure. Oversee Duo MFA implementation and deliver security awareness guidance.
• ERP Administration: Serve as the system administrator for Epicor 10.1.4 ERP (managing security groups, BAQs, and dashboards).
• User Support: Provide daily tech support and onboarding setup for 60+ multi-department users.
• Lifecycle & Assets: Manage IT procurement, inventory, hardware refreshes (from deployment to disposal), & software renewals
• Continuity: Execute system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and maintain clear documentation for network topology and licensing.

Qualifications Required

• Experience: 5+ years in systems and network administration, ideally as the primary or sole IT resource in a small-to-midsize business. However, recent graduates with strong foundational skills will also be considered.
• Technical Core: Strong Windows Server administration skills and solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall rules, VPN).
• Availability: Ability to work full-time on-site and respond to occasional after-hours issues during critical events.

Experience administering Epicor ERP (Kinetic or 10.x) and a familiarity with engineering environments (CAD/CAM/PLM workstations, license servers, large file storage) is a bonus!
