Job summary

Spectrum Marketing Companies is seeking an IT-savvy professional to provide network and system support across a large multi-facility environment. The role involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting outages, and optimizing networks, with responsibilities spanning VLANs, DHCP, DNS, switches, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi management.

The ideal candidate will have Hyper‑V experience, Microsoft Remote Desktop skills, and a solid grounding in AD, VPNs, and Cisco networking.

Qualifications

• Experience with a virtual server environment, preferably Hyper-V.
• Experience managing Microsoft Remote Desktop.
• Understanding of networking concepts VLANs, subnet, DHCP etc.
• Knowledge of and experience with a Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment.
• Knowledge of security concepts and VPNs.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts specific to Cisco networks.
• Experience at Network/System Administration (2-5 years).
• Strong trouble-shooting and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and work on network optimization tasks.
• Managing VLANs, DHCP, DNS and other networking protocols.
• Configuring and maintaining switches, firewalls and Wi-Fi environment.
• Managing, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting our networks, IT hardware, software, and services.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues for our end users.
• Providing efficient problem resolution remotely or onsite at locations.
• Performing patch updates and vulnerability remediation of computer systems and network components.
• Reviewing system logs and identifying issues that need resolution.
