Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Network Support Technician in Bartlesville, OK. This is a 6+ months contract onsite offering $18–$20 per hour with benefits per agency package.

The role requires monitoring networks, triage, and incident management in a fast-paced 24x7 environment. The candidate will troubleshoot TCP/IP, routing, and switching, maintain incident tickets, and follow runbooks. Prior ServiceNow/ITSM experience and CCNA are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in NOC, network ops, or tech support.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and basic networking concepts.
• Exposure to routing and switching.
• Experience with network/server/infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting alerts and incidents.
• Understanding of incident escalation and ticket management.
• Ability to follow documented procedures/runbooks.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment.
• Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Monitor network and infrastructure environments for alerts, events, and connectivity issues.
• Perform initial incident triage and troubleshooting for network/infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, connectivity, routing, and switching issues.
• Identify service-impacting events and escalate per procedures.
• Create, update, and maintain incident and service tickets.
• Follow runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Document troubleshooting activities, incident status, and resolutions.
• Support technical teams during outages and service-impacting incidents.
• Participate in incident bridges and provide status updates.

Immediate need for a talented Network Support Technician. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Bartlesville, OK(Onsite).

Pay Range: $18/hr - $20/hour. Traveller benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network and infrastructure environments for alerts, events, and connectivity issues.
• Perform initial incident triage and troubleshooting for network and infrastructure-related issues.
• Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP, connectivity, routing, and switching issues.
• Identify service-impacting events and elevate incidents according to established procedures.
• Create, update, and maintain accurate incident and service tickets.
• Follow established runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Document troubleshooting activities, incident status, and resolution details.
• Support technical teams during network outages and service-impacting incidents.
• Participate in incident bridges and provide accurate status updates when required.
• Support scheduled maintenance and change activities according to operational procedures.
• Perform effective shift handoffs and communicate outstanding incidents to the next shift.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced 24x7 operations environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in NOC, network operations, network monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, or related technical support.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and basic networking concepts.
• Exposure to routing and switching.
• Experience with network, server, or infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting technical/network alerts and incidents.
• Understanding of incident escalation and ticket management.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and runbooks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM/ticketing platform.
• CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge.
• ITIL or incident/problem management experience.
• Experience with network or infrastructure monitoring tools.Experience supporting maintenance windows or change activities.
• Experience in an energy, utilities, telecommunications, or other critical infrastructure environment.
