Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Network Support Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT. You will troubleshoot and configure network devices, analyze traffic, and drive issue resolution across complex WAN and MPLS environments.

You will work with a suite of tools (Splunk, Netdisco, Pulses, and more) to monitor networks, analyze logs, and ensure 24/7 network stability. This role requires hands-on expertise with routing protocols and transport technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and IP/MPLS networks.
• Proficient with BGP, OSPF, MPLS and related routing protocols.
• Ability to analyze logs and traffic using Splunk and network tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and configure network devices using BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and OSPF.
• Perform network traffic discovery by analyzing packet captures and drive issues through to resolution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot Layer 3 private IP MPLS carrier networks through BGP peering.
• Troubleshoot and manage private BGP WAN topologies and QoS policies for 24/7 stability.
• Troubleshoot network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and proxies.
• Use networking tools to analyze logs, configurations, and traffic utilization.
