Job summary

Socket.dev in the United States is seeking an IT support specialist to install and support devices within the assigned region. Daily duties include resolving technical issues with PCs, network hardware, and applications, and assisting with rollout of software and hardware.

You may work non-traditional hours and participate in on-call rotation; travel for training and projects may be required, and you will maintain procedures and provide cross-training for teammates.

Qualifications

  • IT experience preferred; banking industry a plus.

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications
  1. Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of IT experience preferred; experience in banking industry is a plus.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office products and network technologies are required; Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, firewall, IDS, and security hardware are preferred.
  3. A High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field preferred.
  4. Travel as necessary for training, participation in user conferences, special projects, business resumption, etc.
