Job summary

DSST Public Schools is seeking a Network Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and IEP-driven services across multiple DSST schools in the Denver area. The role emphasizes high-quality inclusion, collaboration with school staff, and coordination with the Home Office SpEd Team.

The position is full-time, in-person, with relocation stipend for candidates from 75 miles or more from Denver.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Special Education Teacher at middle school or high school level.
• Bachelor's Degree with Colorado Special Education Endorsement; out-of-state credentials transfer info available.
• Belief in student success and ambitious post-secondary goals; commitment to inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support students with disabilities across eligibility categories within DSST network.
• Create and implement IEPs, conduct evaluations, monitor progress and communicate with families and service providers.
• Provide instruction at large group, small group and individual levels; collaborate with general education staff for inclusion.
• Support school-based teams and HO SpEd in scheduling, minutes, and compliance with IEPs and evaluations.
• Travel between DSST schools as needed to deliver services and coverage.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and participate in coaching meetings.
