Job summary

Allegiant Technologies, A Crexendo Company in Kansas City is seeking a Sales Engineer and Solutions Architect to own the technical side of our network, security, and infrastructure practice. You will lead discovery, design, scoping, pricing, and statements of work, presenting solutions directly to customers and working with account executives to move deals forward.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or senior network engineering, ideally in MSP/VAR environments.
• Hands-on design and troubleshooting across routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, PoE, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
• Familiarity with firewall platforms and security services. WatchGuard preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 licensing, tenant administration, and migration planning.
• Ability to author statements of work and estimate labor accurately.
• Comfort presenting to and negotiating with customers directly.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery calls and on-site surveys, translating business requirements into documented, deliverable solutions.
• Produce bills of materials, labor estimates, and statements of work that withstand delivery.
• Design networks to support voice and contact center platforms.
• Present quotes and solutions to customers and support deals progress with account executives.
• Identify and document technical risk early to avoid cost overruns.
• Manage vendor relationships during deal cycles and coordinate with procurement and billing.
• Track licensing and renewals across the installed base and surface refresh opportunities.
• Train the sales team on product offerings, qualification, and objection handling.
• Partner with Implementation and Operations to align delivery with sales.
