Job summary

GSA seeks a Network Security Lead to manage the Network Security Program and provide ongoing security operation support across agency networks.

Role emphasizes assessing architectures, implementing secure designs (SASE, SD-WAN, SDP, SDN), and guiding IT security strategy across internal, external, and multi-cloud environments.

Collaborate with leadership and represent the division in inter-agency and industry meetings to resolve complex security challenges.

Responsibilities

• Incorporating modern network infrastructure capabilities (e.g., SASE, SD-WAN, SDP, SDN).
• Analyze current network architecture with Zero Trust findings to design future-state architecture.
• Assist in implementing system security requirements for internal, external, and multi-cloud networks.
• Support and guide in constructing, designing, integrating, and configuring cybersecurity and network monitoring.
• Represent the Division and OCIO in meetings, develop joint policies/standards, and advise leadership.
