Job summary

CSX, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and security infrastructure. You will lead routing, switching, firewall, segmentation, and secure connectivity initiatives with a focus on Cisco technologies and Fortinet platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Familiarity with administering firewall platforms in a production enterprise environment.
• Experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
• Experience supporting WAN, VPN, and remote connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless, and WAN technologies.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions including FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
• Design and implement secure network architectures and segmentation strategies to protect critical business and operational environments.
• Lead network and network security projects from planning and design through deployment and operational support.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain network security controls and best practices.
